SWaCH V Collect: Give Your Pre-loved Belongings a Second Life!
Ready to declutter and make a real difference?
The SWaCH V Collect initiative makes it easy for you to practice Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle by diverting usable items from landfills and connecting them with people who need them.
What is V Collect?
V Collect is a special service offered by SWaCH Pune, India’s largest waste picker cooperative, in partnership with the Pune Municipal Corporation. We offer citizens a preferred and responsible way to dispose of items that can’t go into your regular garbage but still have immense potential for reuse.
What We Collect for Reuse?
We take a wide range of reusable items, ensuring they find new owners or are responsibly managed:
- Clothing & Accessories: Old clothes, shoes, bags, and purses.
- Household Items: Utensils (Bhaandi), artifacts, toys and much more.
- Leisure & Education: All kinds of books, bicycles, and prams.
- E-waste: Mobiles, laptops, computers, coolers and refrigerators.* (This is sent only to an MPCB authorized recycler, as SWaCH is an authorized E-waste collection agency recognized by PMC and PCMC).
*large sized electronic items need special care and handling. It is preferred that you drop them off at our centre or we can arrange a special pickup.
